The client ordered a Solar PV Array, so we assessed the site and installed 14 panels – making a 5.95kWh Solar PV array.

During the assessment, our team discovered that the client has a high demand for electricity in their home, with several high usage items.

We had to make sure the PV array could generate enough power for an electric vehicle and a hot tub. With costs sky-rocketing, the owner turned to us for a cost-effective solution.

The cost of the system was £11,000, with projected savings of around £1,500 a year in electricity bills.

The solar panels were installed on the roof of an outbuilding. This came with its own challenges, as the roof isn’t tiled, it’s metal. We used the Schletter roof mount system with a specialised design for corrugated iron.
